I have worked in many different businesses throughout the course of my life. I've always created my own job by opening a business and running it until I was tired of the job and then sold the business to someone else. In 2010, I took a break from business and with no help and against huge odds, won the Republican primary for the 12th Illinois Congressional District and came very close to winning the seat.
